IT'S back! The Falkirk Herald's search for the Voice of 2012 is under way, with McDonald's once again coming on board as sponsors.

VOTING CLOSES AT noon on TUESDAY, MAY 8. All votes must be received in our offices at Gateway Business Park, Beancross Road, Grangemouth or Manor Street, Falkirk before that time. Votes received after this time will NOT be counted.

Voting totals on the website will be updated at 5 p.m. on Monday, and then not again until after the ten finalists have been announced in this Thursday's paper.

Details of how to buy tickets for the Grand Final will also be in this Thursday's Falkirk Herald!

Who will have what it takes to follow in the footsteps of last year’s winner, Colet Selwyn, and wow the judges in a grand final in front of a live audience?

The top 10 singers when voting closes will be invited to perform at our glitzy grand final at City nightclub on Sunday, May 20 in front of a panel of judges!

The first placed contestant will receive £250 cash and will record a three track cd with our sponsor VoiceJam. Runner up will receive £100 and will record a two track cd, while the third placed contestant will receive £50 cash and will record a single track cd.

Tickets for the grand final - which is open to all ages - will be on sale soon - watch this space!
